Operation: Harvest Red was the name of a join military operation between the Chernarussian Defense Force and the United States Marine Corps to quell an uprising by the Chernarussian Movement of the North Star.

Operation: Harvest Red was labled as a "peacekeeping inititive", but in reality was to destroy the ChdKZ and capture or kill its leaders. After recieving permission from the United Nations Security Council the United States Marine Corps recieved the directive to "restore peace" in the region. Launching its invasion in october, several Force Recon teams, including Razor Team, were deployed in advance of the main invasion force to destablize communications and command from the Chernarussian Movement of the North Star leadership.
